Wendy Cardenas is the Senior Client Relationship Manager at Donovan Legal PLLC. She is the firm’s primary point of contact for clients across the engagement lifecycle — from initial onboarding documentation through ongoing matter coordination — and serves as the firm’s bilingual interface with Spanish-speaking clients in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

In a tax-first practice, the difference between a smooth engagement and a troubled one often turns on operational details: documents requested at the right moment, deadlines tracked across multiple authorities, financial information assembled accurately the first time, and consistent follow-through between substantive conversations with counsel. Ms. Cardenas owns those workflows. She prepares and routes tax-related documentation under attorney supervision, manages the administrative and financial coordination of active matters, handles confidential client information with the discretion the work requires, and provides the kind of consistent, attentive client communication that distinguishes a boutique practice from a transactional one.

Her background spans legal services, financial services, and operational management. She supported attorneys at a U.S. law firm earlier in her career, managing confidential client files and correspondence; served as financial assistant at a credit-services company handling accounting records and client documentation; and held administrative management roles overseeing financial operations and partner relationships across multiple sectors.

Ms. Cardenas studied Finance and International Relations at Universidad de la Costa (CUC) and has completed the University of Illinois’s series on U.S. Federal Taxation, building substantive knowledge of the U.S. tax system that supports her work at Donovan Legal PLLC. Her native Spanish allows the firm’s Spanish-speaking clients to receive operational support in their preferred language at every stage of the engagement — an advantage that matters in a service area with a growing Latin American and Caribbean client base.

Ms. Cardenas is not an attorney. She supports the firm’s practice under the direct supervision of Mr. Donovan. All legal advice is rendered solely by an attorney admitted to practice.
